Vikings give Brandon Fusco a five year extension
Today the Minnesota Vikings rewarded right guard Brandon Fusco with a five-year, $25 million extension. This deal includes $6 million guaranteed.
@TomPelissero: #Vikings have agreed to a five-year, $25 million contract extension with guard Brandon Fusco. Includes $6 million guaranteed.
A 2011 sixth-round pick, Fusco has started the past two seasons for the Vikings, and been a very reliable player for the Vikes.
@TomPelissero: That money is on top of the year Fusco had remaining on his old deal. Helluva rise for a sixth-round center out of Slippery Rock.
He was the No. 8 overall guard by Pro Football Focus last year, and graded out as a top-five run blocker.
