Texans place Louis Nix on I/R; Sign veteran DT Ryan Pickett
Texans placed NT Louis Nix on injured reserve with a wrist injury, ending his season today. Nix, the 83rd pick in May’s draft, was listed as probable on last week’s injury report, but didn’t play a single snap this season.
The Texans have signed veteran NT Ryan Pickett to take Nix’s roster spot. Pickett was with the Green Bay Packers last year and started all 16 games. Pickett is a 35-year-old nose tackle.
