Former Bengals RB Harold Green was arrested for innapropriately touching young girls
Harold Green the former Cincinnati Bengals running back who was drafted in the second round of the 1990 draft is facing some pretty bad charges. Green went on to play nine seasons in the NFL with the Bengals, Rams and Falcons.
Green has been charged for five counts of assault. According to Lt. Curtis Wilson of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department, Green turned himself in to deputies just before 4 p.m. on Monday.
Authorities say Green engaged in inappropriate conduct including touching of the arms, backs, and buttocks of female trainers while working as a volunteer coach at Spring Valley High. Green also allegedly followed the touching incidents with comments or other actions towards the victims.
The alleged incidents, according to Sheriff Leon Lott, occurred on multiple occasions and involved victims, ranging from ages 15 to 17, who were working as trainers for the school’s football program.
