Detroit Lions axe rookie kicker; Sign veteran Alex Henery
The Detroit Lions wasted no time finding a new kicker. Today the team released Nate Freese who has been horrible this season hitting less field goals than he has missed. Well the team acted quickly in finding a replacement.

In a corresponding move, the Lions signed former Philadelphia Eagles kicker Alex Henery.
