Dallas Cowboys need another linebacker; Justin Durant out a month
The Dallas Cowboys who are already thin at the linebacker position will be in the market for another soon. According to Bryan Broaddus of the team’s website Linebacker Justin Durant hurt his groin in the team’s season-opening loss to the 49ers and he’s expected to miss 3-4 weeks while he recovers.
Durant opened camp as the middle linebacker as the team searched for a replacement for Sean Lee, but moved outside once the team decided to go with Rolando McClain in Lee’s usual spot. He had eight tackles and a pass breakup in the opener.
The options at linebacker are not very good. There are some decent players out there, but they are running slim fast.
