Chiefs lose guard Jeff Allen for the year
Today the Kansas City Chiefs announced that their starting guard Jeff Allen will be out for the year after having surgery on his elbow. This is a huge loss for the Chiefs. The Chiefs were so solid this year, but continue to be bitten by the injury bug. This week was a bad one for the Chiefs who lost starting defenders and now they lost a starting offensive lineman.
Jeff Allen is having surgery on his elbow. Reid said he is most likely out for the season.
In his rookie season, Allen appeared in all 16 games, and became a starter at left guard by week 4 against the San Diego Chargers.
