Chiefs fans aim the break Seahawks 12th Man’s record for loudest fan base
The Kansas City Chiefs will hand out earplugs to fans on Monday night, expecting potentially record-breaking noise for their game against the Patriots.
The current record is 137.6 by Seattle, topping the Chiefs previous best of 137.5.
“Our fans are what make Arrowhead special. Monday Night Football offers them a unique opportunity to celebrate and come together on the national stage,” Chiefs President Mark Donovan said in a statement. “From the entire stadium singing the National Anthem, to cheering for a Guinness World Record, to honoring our Armed Forces, we will unite to highlight what is great about our team, Kansas City and the entire Chiefs Kingdom.”
According to Arrowhead pride the Chiefs In addition to the Guinness World Record attempt will:
Ask fans to participate in the signing of the National Anthem
Have parachuters delivering the game ball pregame;
Have the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon perform at halftime.
