Small School cornerback is tearing it up in New England
Nobody was talking about Malcolm Butler before the draft, but we at NFL Draft Diamonds knew he was special. You can read his interview here. After tearing up the Medal of Honor All Star Game in South Carolina, teams began showing interest. Now, the Patriots could have the steal of the draft.
The rookie cornerback helped linebacker Dont’a Hightower force a fumble in the first quarter, then he forced and recovered a fumble later in the game. Butler started over Brandon Browner, Kyle Arrington and Logan Ryan at cornerback across from Darrelle Revis. He has an excellent shot of making the 53-man roster after two games.
This kid is special, I expect him to make the roster.
