A day after losing Michael Bowie to the waiver wire, the Seahawks scrambled to sign a veteran that can come in and contribute right now. The team signed 11 year veteran lineman Wade Smith, formerly of the Houston Texans.

This is a very good signing for the Seahawks, because the team was desperately needing help on the O-Line. Smith is a great replacement of Bowie.
