Falcons lose rookie ILB, Should try to sign Ernie Sims
Falcons fifth-round LB Marquis Spruill is out for the season after tearing his ACL during Wednesday’s practice whichbis a huge loss for the team that has already lost Sean Witherspoon.
The team will obviously need another Mike Linebacker, and one is now available after being released by the Cardinals.
Today the Cards released Ernie Sims who they signed on June 3rd. Sims is very similar to Spruill a smaller inside backer that could be a very solid stop gap backer. I would not be surprised to see this happen.
