Dez Bryant feels he and the Cowboys will reach a new deal before the season begins
The Dallas Cowboys need to lock up Dez Bryant, and we all know that he is the face of the franchise. Well there are reports now that Dez Bryant and the Cowboys could be nearing a deal. According to Charean Williams of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Bryant said he believes there is a “big chance” that his agent and the Cowboys will be able to reach an agreement on a new contract by the start of the regular season.
“I honestly feel like what I do, sooner or later, I’m going to get what I deserve,” Bryant said. “I believe it. That’s why I don’t stress about it. There’s no need to stress about it. It’s coming. I know it’s coming, so no need to worry about it.”
Jerry Jones even stated he couldn’t refute the comment.
“I wouldn’t refute that. I just wouldn’t,” Jones said. “I think that’s the best way to respond to that. He’s got a good sense of it. He obviously feels in the right circumstances he wants to get something done. We do, too. That can be good.”
