The Dallas Cowboys have several roster spots open and could look to fill them this weekend. Yesterday the team signed running back D.J. Adams and waived Ben Mallena who was injured. If Mallena does clear waivers he could be placed ont he Injured Reserve. The Cowboys also waived punter Cody Mandell.
Mandell was the punter for the University of Alabama. The Cowboys need to look at veteran depth. One player the team should look at is Ernie Sims the middle linebacker. I would bring him in to compete with Rolando McClain who they traded a draft pick for. The Cowboys defense needs as many players they can get on defense because they looked bad in their first pre-season game.
