Jerry Rice accounted for 13.4 miles of total offense in his career

Jerry Rice is probably the best wide receiver to ever play the game, depending on who you talk too, but I feel he is a legend.  Did you know that Rice accounted for 13.4 miles of total offense in his career. That’s 23,450 yards and 70,350 feet and 844,200 inches. That’s almost like running a half marathon.

He is the all-time leader in most major statistical categories for wide receivers and the all-time NFL leader in receptions, touchdown receptions, and yards. Rice was selected to the Pro Bowl 13 times (1986–1996, 1998, 2002) and named All-Pro 12 times in his 20 NFL seasons. He won three Super Bowl rings playing for the San Francisco 49ers and an AFC Championship with the Oakland Raiders.

I don’t know about you, but when people compare guys in the NFL to Jerry Rice it is not comparable. I am not sure there will be another player that was as talented as Rice.
