Colts chop Chris Rainey a day after losing Vick Ballard
Indianapolis Colts have released running back Chris Rainey, a very surprising move considering that Vick Ballard was injured tearing an achilles the other day. It makes you wonder what Rainey did wrong. Rainey seemed ready, but this is just a strange cut, especially when you see this quote.
“I can do anything and everything,” Rainey said this week. “Wherever they put me, I’m ready for it. I’m one of them play-making guys that make you miss. It just makes you smile because you know what you can do in the middle of the field. So just be ready for it when you’re time comes.”
