Steve Smith could pass one record of Jerry Rice if he has a 1000 yard season
Steve Smith the former Carolina Panther is already in good company as a veteran wide receiver, but if he surpasses a 1000 yards this year, he would become the fifth player to ever have 1000 yards who is over 35 years of age since 2001.
Smith is 35 years old and could join Jerry Rice, Derrick Mason, Rod Smith and Joey Galloway if he can break 1000 yards. I am not sure he will be able to break the 1k mark, but it would be a great to see him hit it.

Ravens Steve Smith is 35 yrs old. Since ’01, only 4 WRs have a 1000 yd season after turning 35. (J Rice, R Smith, D Mason, J Galloway)
