Oakland Raiders have some fantasy sleepers on their roster
Are you a big time fantasy football player? If you are, one team you need to keep an eye on is the Oakland Raiders.
The Raiders have several players on their roster this year that could have huge seasons.
The first player I think will have a huge year is Matt Schaub. The former Houston Texans gunslinger has been a great fantasy option over the past years, minus 2013 season. He only really had one weapon with Andre Johnson. Well this year the Raiders stacked up the talent around Schaub. Schaub will have at least 5 studs on the field with him at all times. I would not be surprised if Schaub throws for over 4,000 yards and scores 20 plus touchdowns.
If you need a running back look no further than Maurice Jones-Drew. MJD was a very solid fantasy back over the years for the Jaguars because he was the only one ever carrying the rock. Well this year, MJD will share the carries with Darren McFadden, but it will be huge for both of them since they will not be forced to carry the load. I expect MJD to have quite a few plays out of the backfield, especially as a receiver. If you use a Flex, MJD would be an amazing option.
Matt Schaub has always liked his tight ends. If you look at the stats, Owen Daniels, James Casey and Garrett Graham all had good season in Houston. Expect Mychal Rivera the former Tennessee Vol standout to have a huge year in 2014. If he can stat healthy he will have a monster year with Schaub.
They might not be your first selection, but expect breakout years for them in 2014.
