Green Bay Packers sign former Oklahoma State linebacker
Today the Green Bay Packers signed Shaun Lewis the former Oklahoma State starting linebacker to a contract. The team had Lewis in for a mini camp last month. Lewis was an integral part of the Oklahoma State defense, who has been an impact player at outside linebacker throughout his career. A first-team freshman All-American as selected by Rivals and the Football Writers Association of America, and Big 12 co-defensive freshman of the year in 2010. Lewis was also and Honorable mention All-Big 12 in 2011 by the coaches and a second-team all-league pick by the Associated Press.
Lewis is a very solid player who will come in and compete for a roster spot. He started the last 45 games of his career, and was an Academic All-Big 12 selection in 2012 and 2013.
