Grading the Draft: Green Bay Packers edition
Sports Ruckus writer Justin Walters has graded the entire NFC North, and some Packers fans might not like his grading, but he has some very valid points. Let’s see what the Packers finished with.
The Packers were a few moves and a healthy QB from being a legit Super Bowl Contender again. They went and added players who filled their needs and look to be slightly below San Francisco and Seattle as favorites. HaHa Clinton -Dix not only has the best name of all the safeties drafted this past weekend but the best game as well. Coming from Football University, he should solidify the secondary. Once again Packers front office got it right.
HaHa Clinton-Dix S
Davante Adams WR
Khyri Thornton DT
Richard Rodgers TE
Carl Bradford OLB
Cory Linsley C
Jared Abbrederis WR
Demetric Goodson CB
Jeff Janis WR
Clinton-Dix is a versatile safety but is at his best in centerfield. He will make the D better immediately
Adams should step into James Jones vacant WR spot and could be an upgrade
Adams gives Rodgers another playmaker and Abbrederis is a reliable target that gets open
Bradford will help as an extra rush LB and Thornton adds depth to the DL
Rodgers is a receiving TE that will replace Jermichael Finley and give Aaron Rodgers (no relation) a target down the middle of the field
Janis is a big receiver from a small school who can really run
Final Grade: Green Bay Packers A-
