Eagles lock up first rounder Marcus Smith to a four year deal
Marcus Smith was the Eagles’ first selection in the 2014 NFL Draft. The Eagles originally were scheduled to pick at No. 22 but they made a trade with the Cleveland Browns in order to move down to No. 26 and pick up a third round selection as well. At pick No. 26, the Eagles drafted Smith.
Smith was the only remaining Eagles draft pick from the team’s 2014 NFL draft class that is still unsigned. Jordan Matthews, Josh Huff, Jaylen Watkins, Taylor Hart, Ed Reynolds, and Beau Allen have all been signed for a while now.
