Chicago Bear defensive end arrested for speeding with a suspended license (Mugshot)
Cornelius Washington was arrested on Friday night for speeding and driving with a suspended license along Georgia Highway 80, the Glascock County Sheriff’s Office said.
Washington was taken to the McDuffie County jail. Washington was booked and paid the fines for his two misdemeanor’s.
Washington is a former University of Georgia player and was drafted by the Chicago Bears last year. He is currently listed on the Chicago Bear’s website as a defensive end.
This isn’t the first run in with the law for Washington. In October of 2011, he was suspended for two games at UGA after being arrested for driving under the influence and speeding.
