Broncos offer Demaryius Thomas a five year deal
The Denver Post is reporting that the Broncos have offered wide receiver Demaryius Thomas a five-year contract. The team has also initiated negotiations with tight end Julius Thomas, though no formal offer has been made.
Demaryius Thomas is entering the final year of his rookie deal and is due to make $3.275 million in 2014. Peyton Manning’s arrival in Denver has helped turn the wideout into one of the elite receivers in the game. Demaryius Thomas, 26, has compiled 186 receptions for 2,864 yards and 24 touchdowns over the past two seasons, earning two Pro Bowl nods for his effort.
Peyton will be happy when his playmakers are brought back. Julius Thomas and Demaryius Thomas will have another huge season.
