Brandon Flowers is not expected to sign with the Minnesota Vikings
Cornerback Brandon Flowers, in whom the Minnesota Vikings had expressed interest after the Kansas City Chiefs released him last week, doesn’t have plans to visit the team, according to ESPN’s Ben Goessling.
Flowers took his first free-agent visit to San Diego on Wednesday and was expected to make several visits before signing with a team. But at this point, it appears the Vikings aren’t among the contenders for the Pro Bowl cornerback.
The team is desperate right now, and they need all the help they can get at the cornerback position. If Josh Robinson does not fill the void for Chris Cook, they are going to be hurting.
