Tre Mason and the Rams hand Daryl Richardson his walking papers
Daryl Richardson is a very solid football player and now he is unemployed. Richardson was a former seventh round draft pick and he started eight games in 2013.
Richardson, amassed 215 rushing yards at a 3.1 yards-per-carry clip after a solid rookie campaign. He was expected to contend for the No. 1 job as late as training camp last season. Zac Stacy took over the starting role and he is now firmly entrenched in the starting spot and the arrival of third-round selection Tre Mason as a change-of-pace back. I expect Richardson to land on a roster by the end of the week.
