Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed Arrelious Benn
The Philadelphia Eagles have re-signed Arrelious Benn today at a cheaper rate. The team was expected to pay him 1.1 million under his former deal, but the team decided to release him. Today they re-signed the 6’2 wide out to a lesser deal I am assuming.
Benn missed all of last season with the torn ACL he suffered in August. The former second-round pick of the Buccaneers doesn’t figure as more than a fourth or fifth option, but his knowledge of Chip Kelly’s offense is an asset heading into the summer.
