The New Orleans Saints signed offensive tackle Jason Weaver and waived receiver Chris Givens, the team announced on Tuesday.
Weaver, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2013 and spent training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals last year. He spent the regular season on the Miami Dolphins practice squad.
The 6-foot-5, 305 pound Weaver started 27 games for Southern Miss and earned second-team All-Conference USA honors in 2012. He was an honorable mention selection in 2013.

Givens was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2012. He spent training camp with the Saints in 2012 and 2013 but was waived with an injury settlement and placed on injured reserve prior to each season. Givens did not play a snap for the team during the regular season.
