Giants released four players today to make room for UDFA’s
Today the New York Giants released four players, including backup quarterback Rusty Smith. The club also said it had waived linebacker Allen Bradford, punter Jordan Gay and cornerback Junior Mertile.
These moves were done to create roster spots for five undrafted free agents. The team signed some very good players, including Kelsay Quarles the former South Carolina defensive end.
