Former Central State wide out Dayvon Ross is getting plenty of NFL love
Dayvon Ross could be one of the biggest NFL Draft sleepers in 2014. The former UCLA signee, had a very solid season for Central State, and is now focused on the NFL. After putting up strong numbers at his pro day, he has received quite a bit of NFL love.
Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs are four teams that are showing quite a bit of interest in him. Ross originally committed to UCLA and has a very good relationship with Denver Broncos safety Rahim Moore.
I had the pleasure to speak to Moore about Ross and his playing skills and this is what Moore said:
“Dayvon can play in the NFL, he has all the abilities in the world, he just needs to be seen. Dayvon is not afraid of the middle of the field, and will do whatever is asked of him, I think he will succeed at the next level.”
It sounds like Dayvon is being seen, especially with several NFL teams expressing interest. I trust Moore’s judgement, since he has lined up against some of the best in the business. That is a very high praise for the former small school standout. It will be interesting to see where Dayvon lands, but it sounds like he has at least one vote of confidence.
