How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?
I was recruited by Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and Syracuse.
Where did you choose and why?
I choose Middle Tennessee State because it felt like home and I knew Rick Stockstill was a great coach.
What were your goals for your senior year?
My goals for my senior year were to become an All-American, have 6 interceptions and win conference USA.
Have any scouts met with you, and if so what are they saying?
I have met with scouts and they are saying that I have what is takes to play in the NFL and to continue to work hard.
At your position, what separates you from the others?
I believe it is my size and my ability to able to run with fast receivers.
Tell us what you look for when breaking down film?
When I am watching film I am looking for tendencies of the team to see play they like to run on certain downs and also the tendencies of the receivers their stance and the way they come out of breaks. I also watch to see how the receiver likes to block on run plays.
Who was the toughest player you have ever faced?
The toughest player I have ever faced would have to be Eric Ebron from UNC.
If you could compare your play to one person in the NFL who would it be?
If I could compare my play to one person in the NFL it would be Richard Sherman.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
My biggest obstacle would be not starting my senior year and having to prove everyday that I deserved to start by coming to work every day and out working the person in front of me.
What system fits your style of play the best?
I think that I am able to play in any system
What is your biggest strength?
My biggest strength is having speed and size.
What is your biggest weakness?
My biggest weakness would have to be eye placement.
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
If you were a GM I would say that I am a player that never gets in trouble and you can hold me accountable and that I am a player that is going to come to work each and every day and does what it takes to get better.
Growing up, who was your role model?
I would have to say my Dad was my biggest role model growing up because he brought me up the right way which made me the man I am today.
Who was your favorite team and player in the NFL and why?
My favorite team is the New Orleans Saints because I was born and raised in Louisiana. My favorite player would have to be Drew Brees because I love the way he plays.
If you were to have dinner with three people dead or alive who would it be?
I would choose President Obama, Michael Jordan, and Muhammad Ali.
With your first paycheck what would you buy?
My first paycheck I wouldn’t really buy anything I would probably just save it.
