How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?
I had 3, Nevada, SMU, and Texas State
Where did you choose and why?
I chose Texas State because, my Father was an All-American there and I wanted to follow in his footsteps.
What were your goals for your senior year?
To play the best I could for the team and win a conference title.
Have any scouts met with you, and if so what are they saying?
Just asking for phone numbers and how I would feel about playtime linebacker.
At your position, what separates you from the others?
I’m strong and can stuff the run as well as run down rbs.
Tell us what you look for when breaking down film?
O-lineman pre-snap demeanor as well as initial steps.
Who was the toughest player you have ever faced?
The toughest line I faced was probably ULLs line.
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
I was cut from the high school baseball team and instead of crying about it I decided to go out for track in the spring.
What system fits your style of play the best?
I can fit any style they want to put me in.
What is your biggest strength?
My strength and power.
What is your biggest weakness?
I haven’t had the best technique taught to me.
If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?
Give me a play book and I can play anything.
Growing up, who was your role model?
My dad has always been my role model.
Who was your favorite team and player in the NFL and why?
I was born in Houston so I have always been a Houston Oilers/Texans fan.
If you were to have dinner with three people dead or alive who would it be?
Jesus, Caesar, da Vinci
