Dallas Cowboys are still hoping Kyle Orton shows up
The Dallas Cowboys might be stuck with Brandon Weeden as their back-up quarterback. That is not a good look, especially if Kyle Orton does not show up for mini camp. The team is expecting him to show up but it might not go as planned.
“We do anticipate Kyle being a part of what we’re doing this year,” Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett said, via the Dallas Morning News. Well, that’s the plan,” quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson said. “That’s one of the reasons we signed him. We’re still hopeful that Kyle will be here, but if he doesn’t, we feel really good about Brandon, especially since he’s going through our off-season program.”
If Tony Romo gets hurt and Brandon Weeden is their quarterback, Jason Garret might be out as the head coach sooner rather than later.
