Could there be a female quarterback in the NFL in a few years?
This might seem far fetched, but the world is changing everyday, and people are finally being considered more and more equal. Well today Roger Goodell the NFL Commisioner sent out a tweet to a 13 year old girl named Karlie Harman who was recently named player of the year for he performance on the field.
Commissioner Roger Goddell’s verified Twitter account posted a tweet Thursday congratulating Karlie Harman on being named player of the year by Dulles South Youth Sports.
@nflcommish: Congrats to QB Karlie Harman, recently named Player of Year in her Fairfax County, VA league
Harman, an eighth-grader, was recently named quarterback for Dulles South Thunder in the Fairfax County Youth Football League.
Listen if she is winning most valuable player in Virginia the same state that put out Mike Vick and EJ Manuel, she might be something special.
Keep it up Karlie!!!
