Could the Cowboys kick the tires on Ryan Williams?
Former Arizona running back Ryan Williams is expected to work out for the Cowboys this weekend. This could be a great signing if the former V-Tech product could turn back into his college form.
Williams, who was cut by the Cardinals on Monday, was drafted in the second round in 2011.
He has appeared in only five NFL games, rushing for 164 yards on 58 carries. He ruptured the patella tendon and missed his entire rookie campaign. Then he injured his shoulder his second season. Hoping to return to the field in 2013, he instead experienced another setback brought on by knee problems from the torn patella tendon he had suffered.
If he can stay healthy the kid is a beast, he could be a starting back in the NFL. Dallas should gamble on him, they might strike gold.
