Carolina Panthers should get on the phone and make a trade offer for Michael Roos
The Carolina Panthers have a pressing need still on the Offensive line and there is one player that would make a huge difference for the O-Line. The Tennessee Titans selected former Michigan tackle Taylor Lewan with the 11th pick they basically sent their former Pro Bowl tackle Michael Roos a message.
Speculation immediately surfaced that Roos would hit the trading block. Roos, 31, is set to earn over $6 million in the final year of a six-year, $43 million deal as the anchor of Tennessee’s offensive line. While his contract could stall a trade, the Panthers could easily re-work a deal and have him come in and fill in for the retired Jordan Gross.
The Panthers need to get a vet on their O-Line, and Michael Roos could be a great option.
