Browns have signed former 49ers draft pick
The Cleveland Browns have landed former 2008 NFL Draft Pick, Larry Grant. Grant was a former Ohio State linebacker that was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL draft. The Niners then released him and he was immediately signed by the Rams. After a short stint with the Rams, Grant landed back on the 49ers roster.
He was then suspended for the first four games for supposedly taking PED’s. After serving his suspension Grant was signed by the Chicago Bears. He had a short stint with the Bears, and today signed with Mike Pettine and the Cleveland Browns. The 6’1, 250 pound linebacker will be hungry to get back on the field. He will be a very solid back up in Cleveland.
