Adham Talaat impressed Pete Carroll today with big play in scrimmage
It is not easy playing in the NFL, and it is even harder trying to play with what many would consider a disability. Adham Talaat the former Gallaudet University defensive end is deaf and joins Derrick Coleman as the only two hearing impaired players in the NFL. Well today Adham had a huge play that turned coach Carroll’s head, and praised him.
Talaat, who is hearing-impaired, had a sack in Sunday’s scrimmage. Said Carroll: “Talaat did a really nice job of showing his toughness, and showing his great effort and all of that. No problems at all, everything was very smooth as far as communicating and working through the installation and all of that.”
It will be interesting to see if Talaat makes the team, because he was just a mini camp workout. If he does make the team he will be the only player in the NFL from Gallaudet.
