Minnesota Vikings have Kurt Coleman in for a visit
- Today the Minnesota Vikings hosted safety Kurt Coleman the former Philadelphia Eagles draft pick.
Kurt Coleman was originally drafted in the 2010 late rounds by the Philadelphia Eagles. He came out of an Ohio State program that won a Rose Bowl. He’s a young player with some veteran experience, though the consensus seems to be that he’s not necessarily what the Colts would look for in a starter.
Kurt Coleman has been a safety with the Philadelphia Eagles for the past four years. He hasn’t had a stellar career, but he hasn’t been bad either. His best season was back in 2011 when he put up 78 combined tackles and four interceptions. He could help out some in the position, but he doesn’t appear to be the long term answer that the Vikings need.
