Detroit Lions signed former HBCU standout center
Today the Detroit Lions signed former Tennessee State stand out center Sherman Carter and former Buffalo Bills wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt on Friday.
The team held voluntary work outs this week. Both wete signed after a good showing.
The 26-year-old Roosevelt appeared in 16 regular season games for Buffalo from 2010 through 2011, hauling in 25 passes for 396 yards and a touchdown.
Carter, 25, signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee State last May.
