Denver Broncos hosted another linebacker for a pre-draft visit
The Denver Broncos have an obvious need at middle linebacker, and the team has been tipping their hand. Today the team hosted Telvin Smith the former Florida State Seminoles linebacker for a pre-draft visit.
Smith is one of the fastest linebackers in the draft with a 4.52 time in the 40-yard dash with some projecting him as a strong safety candidate. The 6-foot-3, 218-pounder Smith is a projected second-round draft target.
Smith has previously visited the Carolina Panthers and the Philadelphia Eagles, along with privately working out for the Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots, Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Broncos have also hosted C.J. Mosley of Alabama. The team is obviously looking to upgrade the Mike spot.
