Cleveland Browns are at it again, Another rookie QB is on a pre-draft visit
The Cleveland Browns have had almost every quarterback in for a pre-draft visit, and that is pretty impressive, especially when you consider the new staff they have. The scouts and officials did not attend any pro-days for the quarterbacks because they were focusing on other positions. Every team is given pre-draft visits to 30 players coming out in the NFL Draft. The Browns have now met with at least 12 quarterbacks of their 30 visits.
Today the team has former South Carolina Gamecock Connor Shaw in for a visit.
South Carolina quarterback Connor Shaw is visiting the Cleveland Browns today and Friday, according to National Football Post. The Browns are also going to work Shaw out privately Saturday on the South Carolina campus, which is three days of Shaw.
The 6-foot, 208-pounder completed 63.4 percent of his passes last season for 2,447 yards, 24 touchdowns and one interception with a 162.94 quarterback rating. As a junior, Shaw was twice named SEC Offensive Player of the Week twice and completed a school-record 67.5 percent of his passer and finished third in the SEC with a 158.1 quarterback rating. He finished second on the team with 435 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
