Chicago Bears claim wide receiver Josh Bellamy from the Redskins
Today the Chicago Bears claimed wide receiver Josh Bellamy who was released by the Washington Redskins. Bellamy played his college ball at the University of Louisville and was a stand out wide receiver.
I watched Josh Bellamy play at the Battle of Florida two years ago and he was a very solid wide out. He catches the ball well in traffic, and has great speed. Bellamy was on the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad for his rookie year, and after a short stint with the Redskins, the team decided to move on.

NFL transaction wire lists #Bears as having claimed WR Josh Bellamy off waivers.
The Redskins released Josh Bellamy after signing Desean Jackson. I honestly feel the Bears picked up a very solid wide out for free.
