Matt Cassel signs deal to remain a Minnesota Viking
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Friday that Cassel will sign a two-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings, according to a source informed of the team’s move.
Cassel voided the final year of his contract with the Vikings last month under the belief he could get a better deal on the open market. The door had always remained open for the quarterback’s return to Minnesota.
His terms have not been disclosed, but I would not be surprised to see him land a deal similar to Chad Henne’s in J-Ville.
