ESPN Draft Academy will star small school cornerback Pierre Desir
Today ESPN, released a press release in regards to their 2014 NFL Draft Academy. The great news is Pierre Desir, the small schooler from Lindenwood will be on the show. Make sure you all tune in to support the small schooler. #TEAMDIAMOND
ESPN’s Draft Academy, a new four-week series offering an inside look at top NFL Draft prospects, debuts Tuesday, April 22, at 10 p.m. ET. Capturing behind-the-scenes moments on and off the field, Draft Academy will chronicle how NFL hopefuls train and prepare for the NFL Scouting Combine, their individual Pro Days, and ultimately, the 2014 NFL Draft.
Episodes of Draft Academy will include projected first-round picks Blake Bortles, the University of Central Florida quarterback; Jadeveon Clowney, All-American defensive end from the University of South Carolina; and Marqise Lee, the USC wide receiver and 2012 Biletnikoff Award recipient. Lindenwood (Mo.) University cornerback Pierre Desir, the nation’s top small college defensive player, and University of Washington running backBishop Sankey, a first-team All-Pac 12 selection, will also be a part of the series.
“Draft Academy follows some of the most talented, talked-about prospects as they train in pursuit of a top spot in the 2014 NFL Draft,” said Matthew Volk, ESPN director, programming and acquisitions. “The show will give fans an intimate look at these players as they pursue their goals of making it to the NFL.”
The four one-hour episodes will air on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. on ESPN. Most weeks Draft Academy will follow original airings of Jon Gruden’s QB Camp.
