Eagles released WR Jason Avant today
Last year Jason Avant had to play a key role in replacing Jeremy Maclin who was injured, but he did not step up the team was expecting him too. Riley Cooper actually ended up filling the void, and with his latest signing on the Eagles, the team made Avant expendable. Today the team released the former draft pick.
