Dolphins cut ties with CB Dimitri Patterson
Today the Miami Dolphins announced they released veteran cornerback Dimitri Patterson. Patterson is a very solid player but was not worth the money he was given in the first place.
The release will save the Dolphins about $5 million before Tuesday’s start to free agency. Patterson began the 2013 season as a starter but only played six games due to nagging injuries. He was put on injured reserve last December with a groin injury.
