Arizona Cardinals land RB Jonathan Dwyer and two others
Today the Arizona Cardinals landed running back Jonathan Dwyer formerly of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dwyer was released last year by the Steelers, but resigned when Larod Stephens-Howling went down with a torn ACL.
Dwyer came in and performed pretty well in 2013. Dwyer had 49 carries for 197 yards averaging 4 yards a carry. Dwyer will compete for a starting spot in Arizona, but the signing could mean it is the end of the Ryan Williams era in Arizona.
The team also re-signed Marcus Bernard and signed guard Ted Larsen to a 2 year deal formerly of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
