Packers sign small school HBCU tight end to futures deal
On Thursday the Green Bay Packers signed a small school tight end to give the Packers six active tight ends on the roster. The Packers signed former Jets and Buccaneers wide receiver Raymond Webber, whom Green Bay is listing as a tight end, on Thursday.
Webber (6-2, 237) played collegiately at Arkansas-Pine Bluff. He signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in 2011, spending the season on injured reserve. He has also had stints with the Jets (2012) and the CFL’s Calgary Stampeders (2013).
