Claude Humphrey rounds out the HOF Class of 2014
Claude Humphrey was selected as the first-round pick by the Falcons in the 1968 NFL Draft out of Tennessee State. The 6-foot-4, 252-pound defensive end earned Rookie of the Year honors and continued to play with the Falcons through the 1978 season. In that time, he earned All-NFL or All-Pro honors eight times and received All-NFC honors seven times. He is tied for the franchise lead with six Pro Bowl selections, including five straight from 1970-74.
@glennonsports: Per @DavidClimer, former TSU standout Claude Humphrey has been selected to Pro Football Hall of Fame. This was his 5th try as a finalist.
