Browns sign former Arena Football League standout safety
In 2011, I worked for the Orlando Predators and I remember playing against Royce Adams when he played for Pittsburgh Power. He was very good at what he did and we had to plan for him because the former Purdue Boilermaker had a motor.
He finished the 2011 season with 47 tackles and a forced fumble. That earned him a spot on the New York Jets roster.
On January 5, 2012, Adams signed with the New York Jets. On July 31, 2012, he was placed on injured reserve because of a knee injury in which he suffered during the offseason. He was released on August 31, 2013. Today the Browns signed him to a future contract.
