NFL Draft

Blake Bortles will try to gain strides on Johnny Manziel at the Scouting Combine

Every year quarterbacks handle pre-draft analysis in different ways. Last year Geno Smith decided to opt out of the Senior Bowl, which ultimately dropped his stock from the first round to the 2nd. This year, former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel is taking a more controlled route, not throwing at his pro day or at the NFL combine in a few days.

Well that is not the case for UCF quarterback Blake Bortles, who plans to throw at the combine, he said in a tweet today.

Dreamt about the combine since I was a kid! Fired up to compete in all aspects of it, especially throwing!
