Anquan Boldin could be a cheap replacement for Eric Decker in Denver
Eric Decker is going to command a pretty penny in free agency, after he caught 87 passes for 1,288 yards and 11 touchdowns. His numbers were superior to those of all other free-agent receivers. Decker is going to be pretty expensive to keep intact, but Anquan Boldin the aging wide out from San Francisco could be a perfect fit.
Boldin would be a perfect fit for the Broncos who could be losing a pretty productive wide out in Decker. If the Broncos were to sign him, Boldin would play alongside Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker and Julius Thomas.
He’s 34 and has lost a step, so he will more than likely cost quite a bit less than Decker. He’s not likely to have many suitors with the pool of stellar, young talent available, so his price tag won’t be too high. Boldin would love to have another shot at a Super Bowl ring, and he might get that chance in Denver. I highly doubt teams will be able to stop Peyton Manning and company again next year.
